The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. will be recognized by the Certified Professional Insurance Agents (CPIA) Society as the recipient of the 2003 Company Partner of the Year award. Representatives from the companys home office in Hartford, Connecticut will be on-hand to receive the award on behalf of The Hartford. The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at the Opening Reception of the CPIA Societys PRO-to-PRO Executive Retreat.
The CPIA Society developed the Company Partner of the Year award more than a decade ago. Recognizing that the relationship between independent agents and their carriers should be a unique partnership, this award honors companies that create revolutionary and exciting programs that provide agents with support and tools for sales success. Previous winners of this award include Selective Insurance Companies, Utica National, The Cincinnati, Atlantic Mutual Companies, The Travelers, and Chubb & Sons.
Keith A. Savino, CPIA, nominated The Hartford for this award, citing the companys expanded offerings in the area of technology classes and coverages. "They introduced the Fail Safe Program. By introducing 3 tiers, it allows the agency to address the full spectrum of the maretplace. The Hartford delivered some pretty strong marketing materials, online and offline, including interactive cds to help get their message across to agents and our clients," stated Savino in his comprehensive nomination.
The 16th Annual PRO-to-PRO Executive Retreat is scheduled for March 20-22, 2003 at the Belleview Biltmore Resort & Spa in Clearwater, Florida. During this two-and-a-half day networking event, insurance agency and company executives have the opportunity to spend face-to-face quality time with other decision-makers exploring cutting edge solutions to resource management for their organizations.
